Steve Clark Furniture

I studied furniture design and construction in Malmo, Sweden, from 1971-1973. After graduation I moved to Calgary, Alberta, where I co-founded Solid Woodwork Ltd., a high end furniture, cabinet and millwork shop.

I returned to Seattle in 1986, where I began my solo career, producing one-of-a-kind, site-specific , commissioned pieces of of furniture, as well as other functional art objects.

I work primarily with residential clients, but I do have pieces in use at the Frye Museum, the Seattle Art Museum and the Seattle University Law School.I work with wood, various metals, glass and leather.
